SOUND AND VIBRATION IN ONE ALARM! Everything you need, now in one
compact alarm. The Malem ULTIMATE combines light, sound and vibration
to help even the deepest sleeper wake. A selectable combination of
sound and vibration suits the needs of the child. A selection switch
can be easily set to sound only, sound and vibration or vibration only.
Compact and lightweight (less than two ounces including two AAA
batteries) with all the advanced features and advantages of the world
famous Malem alarms. In addition to vibration the different alarms
provide one tone (purple, blue, pink), 8 random tones (gold) to prevent
"auditory accommodation", or the new Selectable model (magenta) that
provides a choice of any of 8 single sounds or random 8 sounds.
The alarm is connected to a small clip-on sensor which detects moisture
and anchors to the outside of any close fitting underwear for boys or
girls. No sewing to hassle with or metal clips or snaps to come undone
during the night. No mini-pads to buy and attach each night! Sensor
contacts are within the clip so skin contact or sweating will not
trigger the alarm. The alarm sounds continuously until the sensor is
removed, allowing you or your child sufficient time to effectively
respond to the alarm.
Included with every alarm are instructions for use, charts to track
progress and batteries. The ULTIMATE alarm uses inexpensive AAA
batteries that last up to 10 times longer than standard "button"
batteries found in nearly all other bedwetting alarms.

This is our best combination
sound/vibration alarm. It is slightly larger than the regular Malem
alarm and the vibration is similar to a pager. If you are considering
purchasing a similar "potty alarm", this is the alarm for you. It has
BOTH sound and vibration. Remember most children need help during the
first few days to weeks to awaken when they wet. An auditory alarm is
necessary for you to help them.
Parents often ask about a single
tone verse a multiple tone alarm. Research does not support the
selection of one type of alarm over the other. This is a personal
preference.
Pure behaviorists would
recommend a single tone alarm. The different Malem alarm colors make
different sounds. Click on the icon to hear the various sounds and pick
what you like best! If you're working with more than one child at a
time, select different colors so you will know who needs your help.
Some families have found that
their child seems to tune out sounds quickly. For this situation, a
random 8-tone alarm would be beneficial. The two selectable tone alarms
offer you all the options-the ability to choose a single tone or rotate
through 8 tones. The selectable alarm is available in a magenta or a
royal blue color.

We are so
very happy with the Malem Ultimate Alarm. Our 7 and 1/2 year old used
it very consistently for about 6 weeks. His alarm sometimes would go
off several times a night and sometimes he would get himself up to go
to the bathroom before the alarm. This alarm started working the first
night we used it and continued to help us make excellent progress as it
suggested it would and as many of the testimonials suggested also. This
is a child who used to pee through two GoodNights pullups most nights
and wake up soaking. Of course I was skeptical about spending the money
initially, none of the other stories parents shared seemed to resonate
with our experiences, so we weren't convinced this would work for us.

My son is
10 years old and had previously used an alarm that required
pantiliners, velcro, and was much more complicated to use. Sometimes we

We
purchased your alarm at the end of January. My soon to be 8-year old
son has been the lucky one to use it. He has been wearing pull-ups
forever (he is skinny) and was wet most of the time. It was maybe once
a month he was dry. We tried the different medications (that had been
successful for my older daughter), but that was not working as well. We
tried waking him up around 4:00 in the morning to have him go to the
bathroom, but he would still be wet later. His nurse suggested he was
