For extra absorbency, a sewn-in gusset pouch holds a disposable booster pad which absorbs an additional 9oz, effectively doubling the absorbency. This brief features soft cotton leg and waist openings. Machine wash and dry.

This product is perfect for anyone needing easy access, especially those who require frequent changes or regular catheterizations. It would not be obvious to others that this is anything other than a cotton brief. The easy-open area on the sides of the brief is simple to use and allows the pants to "grow" as the child grows. The front of the brief can be lowered, providing access, without removing any outer clothing. These briefs work best for leaking situations. For absorbency of complete bladder emptying, the addition of the disposable booster pad is recommended. Bladder capacity of children is their age + 2 to estimate ounces of urine.

My son has encropresis (very severe constipation). He is 7 yrs old, in 1st grade. He has been wearing disposable pullups for bowel leakage for over 1 yr now. I noticed he is very insecure about it as the top of the pullup showed when he was playing, bent over, etc. I found this website with the washable pullups by accident. He currently has one pair of the upsey daisey underwear and loves them. The kids can't tell he wears pullups anymore. They look like regular underwear and even have a hidden velcro side for when he has an accident. He is willing to get up in front of the class now when he has the new underwear on because they don't look like a pullup anymore. I would highly recommend these underwear for kids with encopresis, they seem to hold the accidents in.
