A washable, absorbent brief for children who need daytime protection. Designed specifically for children, these special washable briefs are designed to be discreet and highly absorbent. The washable, sewn-in, absorbent padding will absorb up to 200 ml. (approximately 7 ounces). These pants look like regular boys briefs to increase confidence and allow everyday activities to be carried out without embarrassment. They are manufactured from cotton for comfort and a close fit. They also have a waterproof protective area.

For those who require extra absorbency, a sewn-in gusset pouch holds a disposable booster pad which absorbs an additional 5-10 oz. This increases the absorbable urine capacity. Latex free. Individually packaged.

These briefs are great for transitions from disposable pants while working on daytime continence. For children who can't wait for the bathroom (i.e. children with urgency), these briefs protect from embarrassing accidents. They are ideal for school situations requiring waterproof underwear, because they are noiseless and have the appearance of regular briefs. These briefs work best for leaking situations. For protection from complete bladder emptying, the addition of a disposable booster pad is recommended to add an extra 5 to 10 ounces of absorbency. To estimate the bladder capacity of children, take their age and add two to estimate ounces of urine.

They are generally not intended for nighttime wetting since they may not hold enough urine to keep children dry at night. This depends upon each child. These briefs cannot be used in conjunction with most bedwetting alarms because of the waterproof area.

Great product! Order a size larger if you are just ordering from s, m or l - if you measure, you can order according to the measurement and it should be correct. These are great briefs. If you have a child who wets, then use a booster pad. These are fine on their own for small leaks, but not sufficient on their own for more than leaks. They look like underwear and are not super bulky. Buy two pairs so you have a clean one while the other is hang drying. They are fine to wash in the regular wash, but I do hang dry. It is so great to have this product as an option instead of pull up diaper type products. Momof2 Pretty good protection and discreet Bought these for my son who is 10. I wanted something discreet he could wear to camp. These are not 100% absorbent, which I knew before buying as it is mentioned in the description.
My son also had a sleeping bag liner as a backup, so I would not recommend these as the only source of protection for a sleepover or anytime a child needs to be "absolutely sure" there are no accidents.
However, they are comfortable and my son doesn't mind wearing these at night. They do absorb a good amount, and some nights we don't have any leaks.
Another pro is that they do look and feel like real underwear, so for daytime use they would be perfect. Kelly Perfectly Discreet These underwear are great for my first grader. He feels very comfortable in them and no one can tell they have "pee protection". They provide him with an extra measure of security as he navigates some difficult times now. After school and on weekends he wears his regular underwear. The switch back and forth isn't dramatic enough to merit notice from him. I consider this a plus to prevent regression all the time. I highly recommend these underwear. They have to air dry and have a long drying time, so get an extra pair. You won't regret it. Mom of One I am buying more of these!
