David stands up bravely to his sister's taunts and a nervous visit to the doctor, but will he be able to control his bed-wetting in time for camp?

An engaging, relatable story detailing a child's struggles and triumphs along the road to nighttime dryness. This book offers hope and boosts confidence for children struggling with bedwetting.

    • Shows how families help with bedwetting

    • By Staff Reviewer from Maryland

    • As a mom, I liked that this book shows a family dealing with a bedwetting problem. Some members will be helpful, while others will not—which is probably true in most real-life situations. It also shows that with positive reinforcement and the right interventions, including a bedwetting alarm, a child with this problem can again be confident and happy. I would recommend this book to both boys and girls; even though the main character is male, the angst that he feels is universal.
    • Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

David's Secret Soccer Goals is a warm and sensitive look inside the mind of a boy with bed–wetting problems. It delicately highlights the fears and worries that a child in this position can go through, while offering practical advice on how to deal positively with the situation. This easy-to-read chapter book could also be read to younger children.
