The Dry-Me bed wetting alarm is a highly effective enuresis alarm that should be near the top of the ‘value-minded’ shopper’s list. Modestly priced, this alarm is equipped with several features designed to provide comfort and deliver enhanced alert methods to wake even the deepest sleepers when wetting occurs.

The alarm is small and lightweight and features a plastic clip molded directly on the back of the alarm unit, which clips comfortably at the shoulder area or collar of the child’s pajamas. The alarm’s small moisture sensor is threaded under your child’s shirt and is clipped to the outside of close fitting underwear where wetness would first occur. This bedwetting alarm is well made and designed to go off at the first sign of moisture.

The Dry-Me alarm has three customizable alert settings that allow you to pick between sound & vibration, sound only, or vibration only. When sounds are used, the alarm will play 8 random sounds so that your child does not tune out one specific sound. Each sound is delivered at high volume to effectively rouse your child from sleep. When vibration is used, the alarm delivers a continuous strong pulse. Most children respond best to sound and vibration simultaneously, so the alarm is set to do both when you receive it. In addition to these alert features, the alarm also lights up when urine is detected, making it easy to locate in the dark. Comes in unisex red color.

Included with every Dry-Me bedwetting alarm are instructions for use, charts to track progress and one set of batteries. The Dry-Me alarm requires 2 alkaline AAA batteries for use.

Questions on Dry-Me Bedwetting Alarm

  • From dave at 12/8/12
  • Are you able to adjust the volume up and down?
  • The volume cannot be adjusted. All wearable bedwetting alarms are about 80 decibels to help wake deep sleepers. To begin with, use both sound and vibration until you learn how your child will respond to the alarm, and adjust as necessary.
  • From Lateffa at 12/9/12
  • My son likes to sleep on his stomach. Will the clip cause discomfort if he lays on it?
  • The clip is relatively small so it shouldn't be too uncomfortable. Since the clip attaches on the outside of the underwear, most children don't even notice it.
  • From Elaine at 12/17/12
  • I just received my alarm, and it doesn't sound. What is wrong?
  • This alarm is shipped with an isolator tag in the battery compartment. Remove the battery compartment door and discard the white plastic tag. Replace the door and your alarm should sound.
  • From Heather at 12/28/12
  • How do I test my Dry-Me alarm to confirm that it's working?
  • Snap the top of the sensor cord into the hole at the bottom of the alarm box. Wet a piece of fabric. Lower the lever on the end of the sensor cord so that the plastic jaws come in contact with the wet fabric. The alarm will sound. To turn it off, remove the sensor from the wet cloth and push the flashing reset button.
  • From Cindy at 01/06/13
  • How do I clean my sensor?
  • Your sensor should be cleaned every few days. It is important to clean this sensor regularly to ensure the proper functioning of the alarm, as urine build-up on the sensor will cause the alarm to act erratically. Remove the sensor from the alarm box and scrub the sensor with the toothbrush and soapy water. After cleaning, rinse with water and shake or air dry. This should be done during the day when the alarm is not in use.
  • From Sophie at 01/15/13
  • Can the red alarm unit get wet?
  • No. The alarm box contains the unit’s batteries and electronics. Flooding of the alarm box will result in malfunctioning. To prevent the alarm box from getting wet, make sure your child wears it on the shoulder area of his pajamas.
  • From Rob at 01/18/13
  • How do I change the setting so that the alarm just vibrates or just sounds?
  • To change the sound/vibration setting, open the battery compartment. On the inside of the compartment, next to the inner battery, there is a switch with the numbers 1, 2, and 3 below it. Move the switch up to position 1 for Sound ONLY, to the middle for position 2 for Sound and Vibration together, and down to position 3 for Vibration ONLY.
  • From Peter at 01/22/13
  • Can I choose which one of the 8 sounds I want it to play?
  • No, this alarm does not allow you to select which sound you would like to hear. It cycles through the eight tones programmed into the unit so that each time the alarm sounds, it will switch over to the next sound to prevent “auditory accommodation”.

  • Comments about Dry-Me Bedwetting Alarm:
It is ready to go right out of the box. I have tried so many different things for my 9 year old son's bedwetting issue, but this product is the first that has had a major impact. He has only been using it for a few weeks and already the frequency of bedwetting is lessening.
