The "Flat" sensor is a small, detachable, moisture-sensitive sensor. This rust-proof, gold plated sensor is easily cleaned and can replace any other Malem sensor. When urination commences and the sensor is moistened, the alarm is triggered.
Malem alarms have a convenient modular plug (just like your telephone connector) to allow you to change sensors. Sensor will fit any Malem alarm except for the Malem Wireless Bedwetting alarm. Please notify us when you purchase your Malem alarm if you would like this sensor instead of the Easy-Clip sensor.
Boys: This sensor slips inside the Y-fold/pouch of boy's briefs and clips in place with a crocodile clip or can be slipped into a disposable pant.
Girls: The sensor can either be placed and anchored using the crocodile clip inside an absorbent, disposable pad worn inside the underwear, or sandwiched and anchored between two pairs of close fitting panties.

My son has to wear pull ups because he is special needs. The sensor works great! All we have to do is cut a small slit in his pull up and insert the sensor! No more wet pants or wheel chair cushions! We love this product.
