Great I use these for my couches. I have some older pets and I do animal rescue and want to protect my furniture from accidents and vomiting. I use sheets over them and it keeps the sheets in place as well because they have fabric on both sides. They protect my couches, wash and dry very easily. He's always been allowed on the couch, and we love him being with us, but when we walk away, he gets stressed, and more than once has gone on the couch. After dealing with him for over a year with this condition, I finally got smart and ordered this pad. I love it. The only trouble I've had is when the pad slipped off the arm rest and he managed to go and it got under the pad. I'm better now at tucking it so it won't slip. I wish it were a bit longer, but am considering getting a second one to have more material to work with. This is saving our relationship with our old man, and allowing him to spend time with us on the couch. We just cover the pad with a quilt, and then if there's a problem, toss everything in the wash. I'd love it if you'd make pad a bit more "couch sized", longer, so it can extend the length of the couch, and up over the arm rests, while covering the seat and over the back. An ottoman cover would be great too! This is a much less expensive version of a waterproof slip cover, and it's easy to clean. Very happy, and it's been proven to work already. Thanks! Basenji girl Just what we needed When my adult female dog started having issues with incontinence, I thought I was going to have to start covering my furniture in plastic. I searched up and down for a decent fair priced waterproof throw. I stumbled upon this site and realized that a simple mattress topper would probably suit our needs. I simply measured the width of the seat and back of the couch and decided that a full size cover would do. The straps fit nicely over the back to help secure it in place (although it doesn't always work, but nothing does, just a simple refit here and there). We are still working out how to medically manage her, if its at all possible. She doesn't tolerate diapers well. Needless to say, this product has kept my new couch dry and smell free (and we have had some soakers so far). Following the instructions on washing, it has not fallen apart as some others have said. I keep a full size quilt over the pad and other than the fact that it can be a little crinkly when you sit, you would never be able to tell it was there. Very happy w/ this purchase.
