3 stars, This has been disappointing for us/an unusual situation
By Catshipp from MN on 2015-12-29
Pros: The sensor holds well
Cons: The part that clips into the alarm breaks easily
Best Uses: For a smaller child
We have been using it on a 13 year old, 130# boy. We have had to replace the clip once under warranty and once where we have had to pay for it.
5 stars, Good replacement part
By Didster from Ohio on 2014-04-29
We had to buy a replacment for our original clip because when our kids tried to take the alram off themselves, they pulled it by the wire and after a while the wires came lose and it didn't work. We ordered 2 replacment clips and they seem sturdier and more durable then the last ones.
5 stars, It works! Got my 7 year old to be dry!
By Mom in Omaha from Omaha, NE on 2014-04-14
It stopped our wetting problems for our 7 year old, it was amazing. I was glad I read the reviews and the suggestions, as the first week it didn't wake my kid, he wanted to have it on the various 8 sounds. The 2nd week we switched to just 1 tone so he could learn the sound. On the third week, he was still a heavy sleeper so I slept in his room every night to help wake him when the alarm sounded. By the 4th week, he was started to get the hang of it, by the 5th week he was dry and has been dry for 2 months now every single night. Don't give up on it, because what is the alternative? It works if you stick to it. It was worth it as we've been trying lots of things since age 5 and having both of us parents being bed wetters we knew the odds were against our now 7 year old. He is so much more confident being dry on his own each night. Now his younger brother is using the alarm and while he isn't dry, it wakes him every night so we don't have to change clothes or sheets and that is worth it!
5 stars, Happy with replacement part
By Nichole from Rice Lake, WI on 2014-01-02
My son was frustrated with the alarm & ripped out the cord. I asked customer service if there was a replacement piece- they gave me the exact part I needed & I ordered it. Three nights later, we haven't had to use it again! This is the only thing that has worked for my son!
5 stars, Reordering of the Clip Sensor
By Mrs. Mom wanting sleepovers for kid from Canton, Michigan on 2013-09-04
Pros: Stronger At Wire Sight
We ordered an updated clip since when we started using the product a year ago, he had disconnected the clip one night and pulled the covering back so the wires were exposed. When we began to try again with the sensor to move to EVERY night dry, the new sensor was improved and more secure at the wire connection location.
5 stars, Worth the purchase

Pros: Less Expensive Option
I was at my wits end when my son's alarm wasn't working. He had not used it for about a year and was having some bedwetting issues again, so when we pulled out the alarm, I fully expected it to work again. But it didn't! It had fresh batteries and the alarm would sound, but it would only work sporadically. Or, it would go off on it's own. I really didn't want to have to buy a whole new unit, but it looked like that was our only option. But then I noticed that you could buy just the sensor for considerably less money, so thought I'd give that a try first. I am soooo glad we did. The new sensor did the trick and he's now staying dry at night again.
Now we are more careful about cleaning off the clip when it gets wet. I think that was the issue - apparently there were urine crystals forming on the sensor that we hadn't ever cleaned off. So, it was sensing urine even when there wasn't any present. But we keep the new one clean and it has solved my son's bedwetting once again! Yayy!
5 stars, Did the job I needed it to do.

We lost our first sensor. We were happy to find that they sell replacements at a low price. Works fine for us. Maybe I should have purchased a spare.
1 stars, Recommend an alarm, but not THIS alarm
By Heather from Michigan on 2013-04-20
The alarm itself worked great for helping my son get through the night dry. My issue is with the durability of this brand of alarm sensor. This alarm came with 2 sensors, and about 5 weeks into using it, the first sensor quit working. I then switched to using the second sensor, and again, about 5 weeks later, that sensor started to misfire. At that time my son was doing pretty well with staying dry so I just took him off the alarm completely. A couple of months later, he started to have a relapse so I got the alarm back out hoping I could get one of the sensors to work and no such luck. (I followed the directions for cleaning them, made sure batteries were fresh, etc). I contacted the company directly who made this alarm, who then referred me to the Bedwetting Store and the guy I spoke with basically told me that this brand of sensor does not hold up very well compared to the Malem. He said that they actually provide an extra sensor with the alarm (which is why it comes with 2) because they want to be proactive knowing that there is a good chance that the first will quit working. Unfortunately, I could not get my sensors replaced due to it being past the warantee so I had to purchase a new sensor separately. I was not happy about having to pay to replace a product that I barely got 10 weeks of use out of it total, but the rep was very friendly and I did not have to replace the whole alarm system, just the sensor. A couple of more weeks back on the alarm and my son is back to being dry again. Would definitely recommend getting an alarm, just not this one!
1 stars, Works for a few days
By Mom is still washing bedsheets from Coeur d'Alene, ID on 2013-02-27
Cons: Only works for a few days
I bought the Clippo Alarm for my 5 year old. We put it on him each night fearing he would damage thte wires. It worked really well for 4-5 days. I rinsed the urine off the sensor each time. However, after 4-5 days the alarm startd sounding randomly. There were times when I had just put it on him, he turned to go to bed and the alarm sounded. He would wake us in the night crying because his alarm wouldn't shut off and he was still dry (no "leaking", we checked). I checked the website for tips and did the recomended cleaning. Still had problems. I checked the product warranty on the package; the alarm itself is warrantied. The sensor is not. We stopped using it.
A year later my 4 year old son wanted to use it. We purchased a new sensor and it worked great for 4-5 days. Then it too started sounding randomly. As with the first time, we checked the wires to be sure they were connectd properly and had no tears. I cleaned it as recommended. Still had problems. We haven't used it since and he still wets the bed.
I am disappointed the sensor never lasted more then a week. My boys are heavy sleepers and one week wasn't enough to night train them. Now we know why the sensor isn't warrantied.
1 stars, Problems

Pros: When It Works It Does Th
Cons: Poor durability
This is the third sensor we've had in less than 9 months, and this one broke within 3 weeks with normal use! We are quite frustrated and looking for a different product.
1 stars, Easily broken!
By Mom from Tyler, TX on 2012-11-13
Pros: Alarm Works Great
Cons: Clips Malfunction Easily
Best Uses: Company Will Replace
We have replaced our sensors multiple times due to malfunction. The company replaces them for free, but I have to mail back the defective ones and it is a few days of mailing time that my kids are without an alarm.
