Special Situations - I Need to be Alerted when my Loved One Needs to be Changed

Caregivers sometimes need an alert to know when their child or adult patient is wet. Several moisture sensing alarms work well for this purpose.

The Malem Toileting Alarm is designed to have the receiver placed in caregiver’s room. No sound is made in the child or patient’s room. This alarm can also monitor several rooms at once.

The Malem Bedside or Wet Call bed mat is placed on top of the sheet to detect wetness. It is covered with a draw sheet or towel and remains comfortably in place to detect moisture.

The DRI-Eclipse small wireless sensor is placed inside a disposable pant to detect wetness and trigger the sound unit (receiver).

    The Malem wireless alarm can be attached comfortably to the body and the moisture sensor can be placed on underwear (using the Easy-Clip sensor) or in a disposable diaper (using the optional flat sensor). Once the unit detects moisture, a signal is transmitted to a battery-operated receiver, which can be placed in the caregivers' room or a centralized location.

    An embossed, plastic, moisture-sensing bed pad is placed under the child and the alarm sounds when the pad’s sensor strips detect moisture. The pad should be placed under a draw sheet or towel. The bed mat is attached to the battery powered alarm unit by a 7 foot cord so nothing disturbs the user in bed. This unique alarm unit has a wide range of sound options that allow you to pick the one that optimally meets your needs.

    The Wet Call bed pad is placed under the child and the alarm sounds when the pad’s sensor strips detect moisture. The pad should be placed under the bed sheet, or inside a pillow case. The alarm is connected via a 5 foot cord to the 19 inch by 24 inch bed pad. The alarm buzzer unit can either be placed on the bed sheet, or attached to a bed rail using the Velcro strip.
