This is a second receiver for the Malem Wireless Bedwetting Alarm. This receiver is the part of the alarm that generates the sound used to awaken your child. Once urine is detected by the transmitter, this receiver will sound until the reset button is pressed. This helps ensure that your child will wake to the alarm's sound.

To prevent audial accommodation, this receiver offers the choice of 8 random sounds (or you can choose to use the same sound each night) so your child won't become accustomed to the sound of the alarm and sleep through it.

    I would recommend this product

    We're about 1/4 or of the way through the 12 week chart because we had to start over. At first I only ordered one alarm for my 10-year-old daughter's room thinking there was NO WAY she would sleep through the alarm. Unfortunately her heavy-sleeping is probably contributing to her bed-wetting because I can only assume it was going off for hours as I woke up one morning hearing it (after my personal alarm went off) and she was SOAKED :( After that I ordered a second one for my downstairs master. Good thing because she is still not waking up when it is set off. Sometimes I make it upstairs when her underpants are damp... other times its too late and we need to change the sheets. I can't say I've noticed any definite patterns after three weeks, but I'm hoping we are good to go after the 12-week chart the product came with.
