My cats suddenly decided my bed was the bathroom (after 7 years of using litter boxes without issue) and I tried 6 different enzymatic cleaners before this one. They weren't able to penetrate the mattress well enough, and on top of it, they smell like an aggressive christmas. I found this site and this particular product and decided to give it a try.
Did it work?
Heck yeah, it did!
Did I have doubts?
Oh, absolutely.
I poured the enzymes as directed and about 20 hours later I poured the second solution. My mattress turned yellow and the stain was larger. Over a 3-4 day period though,I noticed the discoloration fading. I dont think it's 100% faded, but to see it now you have to really, really look for it. For reviewers who saw the staining, I hope that several days later it disappeared for you, too.
Pros: works.
Cons: Takes a long time. You really want to wait for your mattress to fully dry out and return to its original color before remaking the bed or adding any other cleaners or solutions.
Note to the company: Please update documentation to state that full results may not be visible after day 2, and that if your'e cleaning a mattress with a whole bottle, it will take DAYS to fully dry. this should be obvious, but some times obvious tings are only obvious after someone points them out.
