Easy-Clip Sensor for Malem Alarms

The Easy-Clip sensor has the advantage of being able to clip and anchor to the outside of any close fitting underwear for boys or girls. One Easy-Clip sensor is included with each new Malem alarm, but you can purchase additional sensors here if you have damaged or misplaced the original - or just want to have a spare on hand at your home.

Malem alarms have a convenient modular plug (just like your telephone connector) to allow you to change sensors. Sensor works with all Malem alarms except for the Malem Wireless Bedwetting alarm.

  • The unique design of this Easy-Clip sensor securely fastens to cloth. It is not easily pulled off and would alert the wearer if this did happen. It should not be used with disposable pants.

    The clear phone jack end of the sensor is not designed to be pulled on to turn the alarm off. The correct way to turn off the alarm is to lift the sensor lever and push the reset button. If the phone jack end breaks, it may indicate that the alarm is not being silenced correctly.

    The last one lasted about a year (with kiddo here half the time). They are good clips but will break after a bit of use.

    the bracket on wire keeps on breaking

    The Easy Clip Sensor is a very durable sensor. The cause of the breakage may be because the sensor cord is being pulled out from the alarm when it is triggered. To avoid this type of damage, we recommend that the sensor is placed underneath your child's shirt.

    Hit or miss

    My child moves a lot in their sleep. The clip can become detached if the underwear material is not thick enough.

    Also at times wetness wouldned necessarily trigger the alarm. The old style clip was more accurate, but less comfortable.

    If your child moves a lot, we recommend clipping the sensor onto the underwear and then putting on another pair of underwear on top to 'sandwich' the sensor clip in-between the fabric.

    It is actually working!

    My daughter is 8 and this alarm has worked great. I am so happy for her that she no longer wears a pull-up to bed.
