Breathable Waterproof Comforter/Duvet Covers

My dog would constantly track mud on the bed. Now, we don't have that problem anymore. I put a comforter inside the duvet cover and secured it with non-destructive duvet clips, and now we just fold the duvet in half and roll up the rest like a swiss roll or hang it off the end of the bed before we go to sleep in our bed that stays clean.

It washes very easily. All I do is remove the duvet clips and comforter and then wash it in the washing machine with warm (86 °F = 30 °C) water on the delicate cycle. I do use a high spin to drain the most water, but it still remains quite wet, meaning I use a longer timed dry cycle in my dryer on low heat.

This one product has practically eliminated all the arguments about having the dog on the bed, which is one of his favorite places to play.

This duvet cover is soft and comfortable, hard to believe it is waterproof.

This is a great product! One thing I would add is some sort of tie loop in the corners to secure the comforter to. I brought iron on clips and just lightly ironed those to the inside corners.

I tested the waterproofness with water and it does seem to be waterproof, which is great! However, it added significant warmth to my duvet, making me sweat (and I am not a hot sleeper) and it was so loud (rustling, crinkling) every time I so much as moved a toe. Unfortunately I’m not able to use it for sleeping, but will repurpose it for outdoor cushion liners to avoid waste.

After buying a breathable cook duvet, my dog urinated on it. Unfortunately, that required dry cleaning. To prevent that issue repeating, I purchased this cover. I did not think about how essential ties are to hold the duvet in place inside and outside the cover. The cover does everything that it is advertised to do. For a waterproof cover, the duvet does not get too hot. The zipper is of good quality.
