Easy-Clip Sensor for Malem Alarms

J-MSEZ

  • The unique design of this Easy-Clip sensor securely fastens to cloth. It is not easily pulled off and would alert the wearer if this did happen. It should not be used with disposable pants.

The clear phone jack end of the sensor is not designed to be pulled on to turn the alarm off. The correct way to turn off the alarm is to lift the sensor lever and push the reset button. If the phone jack end breaks, it may indicate that the alarm is not being silenced correctly.

  • The Easy-Clip sensor has the advantage of being able to clip and anchor to the outside of any close fitting underwear for boys or girls. One Easy-Clip sensor is included with each new Malem alarm, but you can purchase additional sensors here if you have damaged or misplaced the original - or just want to have a spare on hand at your home.

Malem alarms have a convenient modular plug (just like your telephone connector) to allow you to change sensors. Sensor works with all Malem alarms except for the Malem Wireless Bedwetting alarm.

    It is actually working!

My daughter is 8 and this alarm has worked great. I am so happy for her that she no longer wears a pull-up to bed.

    Didn’t Work For Long

I hate to say that the first alarm we purchased stopped setting off the alarm less than two months after purchasing it. He was doing SO good for the last couple weeks that we thought we didn’t need it any longer, but we did. I bought these replacement cords for it but they didn’t help. So we bought a second entirely new alarm, same brand but through Amazon in hopes of getting it as fast as possible. This new one is giving us trouble with working all the time too and we’ve only been using it a couple weeks. We are traveling this winter and always making it to a laundry mat to wash huge amounts of bedding is VERY challenging.

We are sorry to hear about the challenges you are encountering. We will be happy to troubleshoot your alarm and work with you in getting your child dry. Please call us at 1-800-214-9605, Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm, EST.

Doesn’t fit perfect to my Manen

The clip sound if you close all the times, is not like the regular clip that sounds only wet. The clip is smaller than the others and it’s difficult to put and remove for my child (he is 6 years old)

The sensor is designed to sound continuously until it is removed to allow you or your child sufficient time to effectively respond to the alarm.

Clip holds on tightly but plastic lever breaks easily!

Works great clipped to underwear. Place as close as possible to where it will get wet first. It rings immediately. Cleanup is much easier if the child wears a pull-up on top of the underwear! Watch out though, the clip handle is made of plastic and breaks super easily. We've gone through several and they're not cheap! It's best to have an adult clip it on rather than the child.

Great, when it doesn't break right away

The first alarm sensor clip lasted about 6 months before it stopped working. We got a replacement clip around Christmas and by February some of the plastic broke so it no longer stays in the alarm. At $20+ (after shipping), they are pricey little pieces.
