Rodger® Wireless Bedwetting Alarm System

Our son has been successful at getting up and going to void for six straight days. This is success for an almost 13 year old. We like the wiring throughout the front of the underwear to make tracking more efficient and expedient. We do find the underwear are short in the boxer brief- they could be designed an in he longer perhaps. We do also wish the alarm could be adjusted to be even louder as it was not waking him. Overall we are hoping this helps to retrain his brain so he can stay confidently dry through the night. He seems to be waking by himself now as nights go by and getting to the bathroom independently in advance of the alarm going off. We are two weeks in and are very happy with the success he has had in a short period of time. My recommendation would be to start sooner than pre- teen years but because our son is autistic and epileptic and has central sleep apnea- his neuro team wanted to give him more time to self regulate. He is trained in the day but the night time adult pull ups were soaked. I am so glad his incontinence specialist suggested trying a bed wetting alarm and although we are in Canada we felt ordering this concept of alarm with different sounds that he could choose form on the alarm and having boxer briefs wired all along the front- was a much better options than what we had locally. It is such a relief to wake up in the morning to a dry happy child rather than struggle with one that needs to be changed and bathed because of being wet through the night. I recommend trying these but maybe size up on the underwear. Definitely get 4 pairs for changes through the night at first.

This alarm system works very well. We like that there is an option of sounds to wake the child. He feels more in control and willing to use the product when he can make this choice. This product along with the briefs has been wonderful in helping our child.

We bought this system to use for our 7 year old son on the recommendation from our pediatrician. Our son had been wearing a pull up as he is a deep sleeper and had peed during the night consistently over time though he was daytime potty trained by 2 1/2 years old. The first week there were nights when the alarm went off 3x, and many times I had to wake my son up to tell him the alarm was going off despite him being soaked, so it was hard to imagine how this was going to work! Eventually the alarm would go off, and he would only have a tiny bit of urine in the underwear, and some of those times I still had to wake him to the alarm but he seemed to be learning to hold the urine. Interesting. Now we are in week 5, and he has been dry 11 of the last 12 nights with no alarms those nights! So amazing! We bought the second alarm to go in our room since we wouldn't be able to hear the one in his room, and this setup has worked well. I definitely recommend this system!
